Taking proper care of the tile grout in your bathroom will ensure that it looks spotless and is stainless at all times! This, of course, means that you need to clean it often, use the proper products, and the proper cleaning methods!
However, if you aren’t exactly sure how to clean it then I want to give you some tips and tricks which will help and guide you through the cleaning process! Tile grout is hard to clean because it’s not a smooth surface, it attracts a lot of build-ups, soap scum, mildew, and all sorts of impurities.
How To Clean Bathroom Tile Grout?
Now, the first thing I want you to do is to prepare everything you need – an old toothbrush, a cloth, baking soda, and bleach/ hydrogen peroxide.
Now, start with pouring the bleach/ hydrogen peroxide on the grout lines, grab the toothbrush, and start scrubbing.
Then you can add the baking soda (sprinkle some over the surface) and continue scrubbing with the toothbrush.
Once you are done you need to remove the bleach and baking soda. Damp a cloth and wipe the tile grout with it.
You don’t want to use bleach?
A great alternative is using vinegar. We all know how powerful and effective this natural ingredient is. So many people use it as an all-purpose cleaner, right? So why not clean your tile grout with it?
Mix vinegar with baking soda and wait for the mixture to stop fizzing. Then pour it on the grout, grab the toothbrush, and start scrubbing. Once you are done you need to remove the mixture with a damp cloth!
